After the introduction of semester system in the Delhi University there has been a lot of problems including question paper errors for the semester exams conducted this year.The students of the Delhi University were a bit confused on the environmental science papers,as no classes were conducted for this subject,they were not prepared for this paper since the syllabus for environmental studies were introduced to them only few days before.
Computer science papers also included many errors thus confusing the students in the exam hall,with a lot of time waste.This errors were due to the reason that they have included portions that are not taught to the students till date.This is not the right way for the University to conduct exams,without being prepared.hope the Delhi University will rectify this in the coming semesters making the students comfortable.

Delhi University - Admission Date

Admission Deadline Extended For MBA

The admission deadline date for the Management Studies MBA has been extended for Delhi university to December 20.The faculty for Management Studies FMS announced this news.The MBA programme is a two year full time programme,this extension in date of admission also includes all the PhD programmes.The change of date of registration has been taken because of the rush of applicants in the last date as announced earlier November 30.
More than 4000 students hurried up on online registration on November 30,which resulted in payment gateway server down,leading to many of the students not able to apply on that date.The faculty of Delhi University announced that the server problem has been solved now and they expect more than 40,000 students to further register within the time limit they have extended for the PhD programme and MBA,management studies within December 20.The total seats available in Delhi university for MBA programme is around 226 seats.

Inter University Youth Festival -East Zone

The 27 Th Inter University Youth Festival -East Zone is to be held in Tezpur University,Assam. All colleges coming under Ranchi University held various competitions in the end of November.More than 30 winners of various competitions were selected.These students will be representing the University of Ranchi in Inter University Youth Festival which is going to be likely on this month from December 16 to 20.

The Inter University East Zone Festival, 2011, in Tezpur University Assam will conduct various cultural events for all the college students of the East Zone.The cultural events will include Drawing,Classical dance,Potter making,Cartoon drawing, Rangoli,Mime,Skit,Debate,Elocution,Music,Light vocal etc.,

       

The various colleges that would participate in this Inter University Youth Festival includes Ranchi Women's College,PG department and Birsa College of Khunti ,Nirmala College,St Xavier's College,Marwari College etc.,this Inter College Competition will give an overall development among the students.They will be able to display their talents in a bigger way nationally.

These competitions will increase their mentality in their studies thus encouraging their sense of creativity,competitively in a relaxing way.Ranchi University students are prepared to attend the event in Tezpur University,in Assam.

Patna Law College - New Course

5 year BBA LLB course to start in Patna Law College

Patna University (PU)s constituency the Patna law college is going to start a 5 years programme of law course BBA LLB.From this academic year the BBA LLB course has been prepared to start in PU.

This news was leaked by Patna Law College principal Rakesh Varma.He told to the spokesperson that the council of Academy of the Patna Law College has accepted having been recommended by the BCI (Bar Council of India). This 5 year BBALLB Course would have Semester Pattern.

From the next academic year Patna University has decided to switch over to the most demanded semester system.This decision of changing to semester system in Patna University is done because of the lack of teachers. In a recent meeting held under the chancellor and dean and all the head of the departments this decision was taken.They also discussed about the measures to be taken to increase academic growth.

All Post Graduate department are ordered to revise their syllabus in order to that of the semester studies.The revised syllabus prepared would be sent to the Academic Council and Senate for its first approval and then finally to the chancellor.For their problem of shortage of teachers,they have decided to allow retired teachers and scholars to take classes.
